Sosh AI

How to Get Started

Go from zero to your first social media post in under 15 minutes. Here's exactly what to do.

Step 1: Create Your Account

~1 min

Head to soshlabs.ai and click "Get Started". You can sign up with your email address or use Google single sign-on for a faster setup. A credit card is required to start your free trial.

  1. Enter your name, email, and create a password — or click "Continue with Google".
  2. Verify your email address through the confirmation link we send you.
  3. You're in! You'll be taken straight to the next step.

Step 2: Create Your Organization

~30 sec

An organization is your shared workspace. It's where your team, content, campaigns, and brand identity live.

  1. Give your organization a name (usually your business or brand name).
  2. Upload an optional logo so your team can identify the workspace.
  3. Once created, you'll be the admin with full access to all features.

Pro tip

You can invite team members later from Settings → Team — they'll be able to collaborate on content and campaigns.

Step 3: Complete Your Brand DNA

~5 min

This is where the magic starts. Brand DNA is a short, guided questionnaire that teaches Sosh AI exactly who you are, what you do, and how you sound. Every piece of content Sosh generates is shaped by your answers here.

  1. What You Do — What does your business do, and what problem does it solve for your customers?
  2. Your Ideal Customer — Who is your ideal customer? What's the biggest frustration or challenge they face that your business helps with?
  3. Content Themes — Pick the 3 content categories that feel most natural for your brand (tutorials, motivation, trends, tools, case studies, or behind-the-scenes).
  4. Customer Transformation — Paint the picture: The Messy Before and The Dream After of working with you.
  5. Your Brand's Personality — Choose the personality that fits: The Disruptor, The Relatable Friend, The Authority, or The Scientist.
  6. Your Hot Take — What's something you believe about your industry that most people get wrong?
  7. How You Show Up on Camera — Select the video formats you're comfortable creating (talking head, voiceover, B-roll, faceless, green screen, podcast clips).

Pro tip

Be specific and honest — the more context you give, the better your content will be. You can always update your Brand DNA later.

Step 4: Review Your Brand DNA Summary

~2 min

After you submit your answers, Sosh AI distills everything into a clear Brand DNA Summary. This is a plain-language overview of your brand's voice, audience, and strategy.

  1. Read through the summary — does it sound like you?
  2. Click "Edit" to tweak any wording until it feels right.
  3. Hit "Confirm & Continue" when you're happy with it.

Pro tip

This summary is what powers all future content generation, so make sure it captures your brand accurately.

Step 5: Set Your Monthly Goal & Posting Frequency

~2 min

After confirming your Brand DNA, you land on your personalized dashboard. This is your command center — and your first action here unlocks the real power of Sosh.

  1. Set your Monthly Goal — click the goal banner at the top and type your objective (e.g., "Establish thought leadership in AI" or "Launch Q1 product campaign").
  2. Set your Posting Frequency — choose how many posts per week you want to publish (1–7). This tells Sosh AI how much content to generate.
  3. Your dashboard also shows stats like Content in Drafts, Ready to Post, Published This Month, and Pending Approval. These will populate as you start creating content.

Pro tip

Setting both your monthly goal and posting frequency unlocks the "Prep My Content Calendar" button — which is the fastest way to fill your calendar with content.

Step 6: Generate Your Content Calendar

~2 min

This is the "aha" moment. Once your goal and frequency are set, click "Prep My Content Calendar" and watch Sosh AI create an entire month of tailored draft posts in under a minute.

  1. Click "Prep My Content Calendar" on your dashboard.
  2. Sosh AI uses your Brand DNA, monthly goal, and posting frequency to create 8–12+ draft posts.
  3. Your content calendar on the dashboard fills up with posts spread across the month — each with a hook, caption, and visual blueprint.
  4. Click any post to open the Content Wizard and review, edit, or regenerate individual fields.

Pro tip 1

You can also create posts manually: click "New Post" on your dashboard or Posts page, and choose a content type (Short-Form Video, LinkedIn Post, Newsletter, Microblog, or Instagram Carousel).

Pro tip 2

You like an idea but think it's better as a LinkedIn post instead of an Instagram reel? You can change any post idea to the format you like by changing the "Content Type" drop-down menu.

Step 7: Ask Sosh AI for Ideas & Fine-Tuning

~1 min

On the right side of your dashboard, you'll see the Ask Sosh AI panel. Think of it as a brainstorming partner that knows your brand inside and out.

  1. Ask for content ideas: "Give me 5 LinkedIn post ideas for this week."
  2. Get caption suggestions: "Write a caption for a behind-the-scenes video."
  3. Brainstorm campaigns: "What's a good campaign theme for Q2?"

Pro tip

Sosh AI uses your Brand DNA to tailor every response. The more you interact with it, the more useful it becomes.
